Collagen is one of the most important types of protein produced by the body. Within our joints, collagen forms part of the cartilage used to cushion our bones which provides impact resistance and supports joint functionality. Our body makes this joint collagen by sequentially combining the triplets of amino acids; glycine with proline, hydroxyproline and other amino acids into a large ‘supercoiled’ helix structure that’s especially long lasting, but slow to repair.

Dosage
- 6 grams per day – more if required – in water or liquid of your choice. (1 Tablespoon)
